My favorite part of blogging was creating my hot avatar! I enjoyed viewing the parade of avatars and trying to guess who's who. I also enjoyed viewing the HCPL staff blogs. There are some really creative blogs out there.
When my nieces and nephews discuss myspace and other social networking sites, I won't have that blank look on my face anymore. I am no expert, but at least now, I have an idea of what they are talking about it.
Hugs and kisses,

Week 9: #22
I downloaded the software and didn't try any of the books, but did listen to the music. It is pretty neat. I don't have to worry about turning the book late or doing anything like that. Best of all, no fifnes. It does not get much better than that.
And if I had a PDA, I could be able to download the media to it and have it with me on the go.

Week 9: #21
I was listening to some of these podcasts, and they can be funny, informative, and even weird. But the ones I loved were the ones about "real futbol", or soccer to all the ones that dont know what I am talking about.
I also looked a tsome of the ones that had to do with libries, and book reviews. Very impressed with the way that some of these things portrayed themselves. Specially how they can provide some good reviews.

I love videos, and any video with Michael, is a very good reason to stop and drop eveything you are doing just to let his music flood your ear canals.
As for the libraries using it, think of all the fun we can have. Librarians post their holiday spirit online for others to enjoy and join in. People to show their support to the books they love.

Week 8: #19
Zoho writer: This really comes in handy. I don't have one of those little memory sticks that every one carries about with them, but this saves me the trouble of getting one. All I have to do is write it, save it, and then from anywhere in the world with internte access I can retrieve my information.
Now I can do work at home too and save it so that it can be waiting for me

Week 8: #18 :
Out of the many social network sites that are out there, I liked Facebook the most. Just from the inital browsing, I saw the possibility of reuniting with old classroom friends, and that first crush from back in the day. I wonder if he still remembers me?
As for myspace, I think I am a little too old to be playing around with that site. It looks like it is mostly for younger people, not that I am old or anything.

Just from looking at this, it can save us so many problems when installing new devices. I can now change the room to any whay I want to, and I don't have to worry about punching the wall or getting an extension cord to do it. This looks so easy, that anyone could do it.

We celebrated my mom's 75th birthday, which we called the Wedding/Debutante/Diva Ball. It's was an extravaganza! I hope I look this good at 75.
